Precinct Chairs

Precinct Chairs are the backbone, the foot soldiers of the Democratic Party. There are two Precinct Chairs  for every precinct. This is a wonderful place for someone who is new to the El Paso County Democratic Party to get involved, and for a committed activist to make a difference in their neighborhood.

What does a Precinct Chair do?  Precinct Chairs are responsible for helping with campaign activity in their precincts. That includes talking to your neighbors about upcoming elections, ensuring they are registered to vote, and maintaining critical information for the Party.   Precinct Chairs are also voting members on the County Central Committee, allowing them to set policy and direction for our Party, as well as determine local Party leadership.

Are you interested in being a precinct chair? Our next training is Sunday, July 11 from 4-6 pm. Please RSVP to: PDC@peakdems.org
